The scientific youth organisation, Early-Career Complementologists (ECCO), has been started as a collaboration between the International Complement Society and the European Complement Network.
In the ECCO we work to engage young researchers in the complement field. We share information about great science, job opportunities, fellowship-calls, as well as social activities. EMCHD 24 Announcements
Dear Early-Career-Complementologists,
We are pleased to announce the opening of two Applications for ECCO Events during the EMCHD Meeting in Lübeck – the "Science Slam" and "3rd PhD Journal Article Award"!
- If you’d like to apply to participate in the Science Slam at EMCHD, please find the details here: www.emchd2024.org/ecco. Submission deadline is May 31, 2024.
- We are also now accepting applications for the 3rd ECCO PhD Journal Article Award! Please find details in the attached PDF document. Submission deadline is June 30, 2024.
On behalf of ECCO, we invite you to apply for these two amazing opportunities designed specifically for early-career complementologists. Both events come with a €500 prize each—two winners of the science slam will each receive €500, and the recipient of the Journal Article Award will also be awarded €500.
Further ECCO events at the at the 19th European Meeting on Complement in Human Diseases (EMCHD):
- ECCO Meeting (Teaching Day, 16:45, Sep 2, 2024): invited are all ECRs (defined as graduate, Ph.D. or post-doc level up to 5 years post-Ph.D.)
- ECR pub quiz (19:00, Sep 4, 2024): please choose this option during your EMCHD registration at the Ticket shop
